It is full of sustainable apparel designed in their most popular styles. Some products include polos, sweaters, wovens, and accessories made from 100% organic cotton. Or you may like their PET fleece hoodie made from recycled soda bottles.

If this is not enough to make you environmentally friendly, they also offer eco-friendly decoration and unique packaging options to make your entire order “green.”

The organic cotton in the shirts below is grown without the use of pesticides. The material does not contain chemicals, bleaches, or dyes thus reducing the amount of pollutants in the environment. Aside from shirts, they also showcase totes and caps made of the same organic material.

Another new idea in our market is known as eco-friendly digital printing. The process features water-based designs which are printed without screens or films. By using this special process, they are able to use less ink without any excess ink waste. On top of that, the company even recycles their ink cartridges to minimize environmental damage.

Another option is to buy fleece products made from recycled fibers. This particular material is made from recycled plastic soda bottles which are converted to polyester fibers. These fibers are then knit into the fabric. By using bottles, the company is closing the loop of recycling. They are prolonging landfill life which helps to reduce toxic emissions from incinerators; thus lessening air, water, and soil contamination.

One of the local programs we are sposoring this year is Cathedral High School Football.  Cathedral’s football team has decided to work with us this season and we are truly grateful. Coach Rick Streiff and his players are proud to announce their ESPN game on August 23^rd against Carmel High School. The team will also be one of eight teams featured in Toyota’s Line of Scrimmage Show.

Another group we’ve decided to support is a start-up recycling company known as Kans for Kids. This nonprofit has begun recycling bottles and cans in schools around Indianapolis. They are also involved with a larger spectrum of recycling called Waste Chasers. We chose to sponsor this group because they are dedicated to environmental education and waste reduction. Currently there are not any companies which recycle these materials in schools, so Kans for Kids was formed with this in mind. Once they entered the market, they realized the lack of plastic recyclers in Indiana and chose to partner with a company who could better accommodate those needs.

A number of our suppliers have jumped on the “green” bandwagon by introducing numerous eco friendly items at extremely affordable prices. Some of our favorites are discussed below.

The ECOPEN – Crown Products

This item is like nothing you’ve seen before. Its paper barrel is comprised of 80% post consumer content recycled paper. And if that’s not enough, it even has a one of a kind clip made out of wood. This writing instrument comes in four different colors, and the ink cartridge is refillable. You can be proud knowing your logo is displayed in a place it will be remembered.

Recycled Stick Pens – Jo Bee

Here we have a supplier who has gone outside the box. Not only do they offer recycled pens, they offer them in a variety of recycled materials. While the percentage of recycled material is not as high on these, they will still make a bold statement about your company’s awareness of the earth.

They are made up of 30% recycled material and are offered with blue or black ink. The imprint area is a bit larger on these than the Ecopen and I haven’t seen this type of product anywhere else. They offer recycled denim, recycled money, recycled newspaper, recycled tires, and even recycled blue jean pencils. With a price of $0.50 with a quantity of 500, that’s not a bad cost to make a lasting impression.

Twig Pen – Alpi

Not much to say about this one. It’s a twig. It’s a pen. It’s a Twin Pen. Did I mention it can be printed on too? Under a dollar if you purchase 500 or more.

Bamboo Pen – Alpi

Once again, not much to say here. It’s bamboo. It’s a pen. It’s a Bamboo Pen. Also able to print on this one and it’s under a dollar as well. Definitely a unique choice.

Corn Pens – Leeds

Leeds has come up with a number of pens made from corn. These are anywhere between 66-79% biodegradable. Meaning, if you plant them, the majority will decompose over the course of a few months. Not to mention they boldly display the recycling symbol. This coupled with your logo will be sure to impress any recipient.

This review is for all of you construction workers, architects, teachers, and clean freaks out there. Here we found a ruler which is easy to store, easy to use, and affordable. It’s fun to use and completely accurate. This item is also available as an Eco-Responsible product, simply meaning it’s made of 70% post consumer recycled plastic.

The company gives multiple imprint options including three possible locations and two imprint methods. Aside from Silk Screening the ruler, they have introduced a new method of decoration called VibraTec. This is a revolutionary technology allowing the artwork to be printed in four color process on a variety of products and surfaces which formerly only offered spot coloring. Using this option will result in photo quality logos and graphics beyond your expectations.

It has a hole for hanging it up, and, when folded, it measures to a 1 ½” square. This measuring device is available in a variety of colors and it is sure to impress whoever ends up getting their hands on it.  

The hercules pen is one of the more popular styles out there right now.  What makes it so unique is it’s size.  It is clearly one of the larger pens you will see out there.  They actually make great weakly or monthly sales awards for whoever “writes” enough business!!!  

The biggest challenges facing the Hercules pen right now is that the factory that prints them has had much of their stock destroyed during the summer floods in the midwest.  Full production is not expected to be back online for 2-3 months.
